Oceana Haaland

Oceana Haaland serves as an Alumni Engagement Specialist within University Advancement at UCCS. In this role, she focuses on strengthening connections between alumni and the university. She leads initiatives that support alumni career development and creates opportunities for graduates to stay connected to the UCCS community throughout their professional journeys. Oceana works closely with the T. Rowe Price Career and Innovation Center and UCCS Downtown to build partnerships that expand career resources and meaningful engagement for alumni.

Originally from San Diego, California, Oceana earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. She now happily calls Colorado Springs home and enjoys being part of the city’s active community. Outside of work, you’ll often find her horseback riding, rock climbing, playing volleyball, or spending time with her husband and their two cats.
