Bio
Christy Smith serves as a Development Coordinator for the UCCS Advancement team. She is local and has been in the Colorado Springs area since 2015. She lives in Monument with her two children and loves being near the mountains and tries not to take the views for granted.
Christy earned a bachelor's of science degree from the University of Utah and M.Ed. degree from the University of Idaho. She is a former U.S. Naval Officer, production manager, teacher, and federal grants manager. She is excited to be at UCCS helping the Advancement team.
When not at work she loves to be hiking with her kids, visiting family in the Northwest or working with her Rotary Club doing community service.
