Justin Todd Howe serves as the Gift Planning expert at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). Justin supports the UCCS Advancement team to enhance the giving experience by supporting donors as they explore major and planned gift opportunities. Justin is from the great state of Michigan but has been a Coloradan for four years. He joined the CU System as Associate Director of Gift Planning in August 2022 and will be embedded at UCCS. Prior to joining CU, he worked in Higher Education for over eight years at Metropolitan State University of Denver and the University of Michigan. Justin has a passion for higher education, philanthropy and for the University of Colorado. Justin is dedicated to connecting donors’ passions with CU.

Justin completed his Masters and Bachelors in Marketing/Communications at Michigan State University and is a dedicated Spartan fan. Outside of work, he enjoys being as active as possible including hiking, playing football, baseball, hockey, tennis and golf. Justin is also an avid music fan and loves attending live music shows as well as playing his acoustic and electric guitars.
