Sara Daum

Sara serves as the Senior Director of Advancement and Engagement Operations. In this role, Sara will be the lead for organizational division items, such as aligning our division goals and KPIs, serving as a liaison for the CU Foundation and System Advancement, she will oversee budget and gift administration, events and data integrity. One of the most important aspects of the role, in her opinion, is building on the strong culture of collaboration and innovation within the UCCS Advancement team.

Sara brings more than 10 years of fundraising experience, along with degrees in Sociology and Medical Sociology, and experience teaching in a college classroom. Outside of work she is passionate about running, learning new things, and her garden. She grew up in the deep South, where the summer smells like kudzu vine and honeysuckle.
