Sara serves as the Annual Giving Engagement Program Director, leading the campus’s annual giving efforts. In this role, she is responsible for building and executing a strategic plan for donor engagement and giving, as well as expanding the donor pipeline through the growth of leadership annual giving. One of the most important aspects of the role, in her opinion, is building on the strong culture of collaboration and innovation within the UCCS Advancement team.

Sara brings more than 10 years of fundraising experience, along with degrees in Sociology and Medical Sociology, and experience teaching in a college classroom. Outside of work she is passionate about running, learning new things, and her garden. She grew up in the deep South, where the summer smells like kudzu vine and honeysuckle.
