Corrie Joy West

Corrie Joy West serves as Senior Director of Development, where she supports broad campus fundraising projects and priorities while providing leadership for the university's philanthropic fundraising function, including major and annual giving, planned giving, and corporate and foundation relations.

She brings more than 30 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, donor engagement, and corporate partnership development. Prior to joining UCCS, Corrie served as Manager of Business Development with Mountain West Sports Properties (MWSP), supporting corporate partnership initiatives for the Mountain West Conference. Before MWSP, she worked at Butler University as Associate Director of Donor Relations and with the USA Shooting Team Foundation as Director of Resource Development.

Corrie earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Fitness with a minor in Recreation Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She also holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Concordia University Wisconsin and a Master of Arts in Sports Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. In addition, she earned a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and completed professional training with Plus Delta Discipline of Frontline Fundraising and Management of Frontline Fundraising programs.
