Ian Ratz serves as an Associate Director of Development and will focus his efforts on raising support for student success initiatives and community scholarships such as Reach Your Peak and Bridge Forward. He has been a member of the UCCS campus since 2012 where he worked with the UCCS Sport Management program managing student recruitment, teaching classes and connecting students to internship and career opportunities. Prior to his time with UCCS, Ian worked as Senior Director for Healthy Living at the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region leading initiatives focused on offering programs designed to support member’s health and fitness goals. He also worked for USA Swimming as a National Team Performance Consultant where he provided high-performance services to athletes and coaches with the goal of winning Olympic medals.

Ian holds an MBA from UCCS and an MS and BS in Exercise Physiology from Eastern Michigan University. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and you will find him outdoors hiking, skiing, biking, etc. He looks forward to continue building relationships with our community with the intention of opening doors for our students to succeed through outcome alignment.
