About

Nick serves as the Assistant Director of Development. In this role, he partners with alumni and philanthropic partners in Colorado Springs and beyond to build authentic, lasting relationships and secure major gift support for UCCS students, faculty, and programs.

Nick has spent more than a decade working in and leading non-profit organizations, and he brings that experience to the team at UCCS. He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming, where he earned a degree in secondary education. Nick lived in San Diego after college, but a deep love for Colorado Springs eventually brought him back to his hometown. Relationship-building has been the focus of his professional work, and he is excited to bring that approach to his role.

Nick and his wife, Emily, are parents to three young boys, a golden retriever, and a cat, so life at home is busy and chaotic in the best way. As a family, they spend most of their time outdoors, hiking in Cheyenne Canyon, tackling the Incline, biking, playing soccer, and exploring Colorado. Nick also enjoys golfing, cooking, and time with family and friends.
