Sarah joined the Mountain Lion family in 2014, within the Office of Information Technology (OIT) department. Due to similar finance responsibilities, Sarah started providing shared services to University Advancement in 2016. Since joining UCCS, Sarah has been very active within the campus community by serving on search committees, Staff Association, Employee of the Quarter committee and UCSC. Prior to working at UCCS, she worked at a government contracting firm based in San Diego, and then at a local non-profit serving El Paso, Teller and Elbert counties.

Sarah received her undergraduate degree from Western State Colorado University in Exercise and Sport Science, and a minor in Business Administration. She is currently working simultaneously on her MBA (at UCCS) and towards her PMP certification. In her spare time Sarah enjoys volunteering; spending time with her husband, Adam; traveling; and hiking with their dog.
